Being a Product Security Engineer is an exciting role and these here are your most important tasks:

  • Support security compliance projects: help ensure our products comply with relevant security standards and regulations;
  • Assist in security policy development: support the team in refining product security policies and guidelines;
  • Assist in incident response: support the team in responding to security incidents and help with basic information collection and documentation tasks;
  • Learn and research security trends: stay updated on the related regulations, latest security trends and technologies, and share findings with the team.

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? These are the essentials for you to have:
  • Availability to work 40 hrs/week in our office in Munich, Germany (no remote work is possible)
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information security, computer science, or a related field;
  • Good understanding in data protection, product compliance and application security principles/technologies;
  • Good understanding with frameworks like GDPR, IEC 62443, and with Data Act, AI Act etc.;
  • Previous work experience in cybersecurity or compliance;
  • Strong problem-solving, and communication skills;
  •  Proficient in English (spoken and written), Chinese is a big plus.
