Servus and a warm welcome from all of us here at Sungrow! We’re thrilled to introduce a key role that connects our cutting-edge technology with the regulatory and utility landscape across Europe, the Technical Sales Manager PV Utility - Germany. Curious what this is all about? Let’s dive right in:
  • Manage and develop strategic customer relationships in Germany and other DACH countries.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, manage tendering processes, and negotiate contracts for PV and BESS solutions.
  • Provide essential technical input from initial project assessment through to technical and economic feasibility.
  • Monitor market and competitor activities, providing insightful reports and relevant information.
  • Identify market potential and establish PV and ESS technical specifications in accordance with European regulations and international standards.
  • Collaborate closely with HQ and local technical teams, ensuring regular updates on product information, training, and customer feedback.

Your profile

All right, all right, that was intriguing, wasn't it? Now, in order to fit in this role and be happy for a long time, your ideal background should look a lot like this:
  • Possess a technical or engineering educational background.
  • Bring at least five years of sales experience within a technical environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to sell comprehensive solutions rather than just products.
  • Exhibit strong project management capabilities.
  • Be willing and able to undertake business travel up to three or four days a week.
  • Have excellent command of English (C1), with German and Chinese proficiency considered a plus.
