IT Coordinator (AI & IT Projects) - Germany

We are driving the digital backbone of Sungrow’s European business — from AI innovation to modern infrastructure and the setup of our new local data center. And now, we’re excited to invite you to join us on this journey as our new Part-Time IT Coordinator!
What will you be working on? Let’s have a look:

• Support AI initiatives including Copilot, Sentinel AI and automation workflows, ensuring alignment with compliance and cybersecurity standards.
• Contribute to data preparation, testing activities, and operational automation for our regional IT landscape.
• Assist in planning and implementation tasks for our new Munich data center, including hardware coordination, rack layout, cabling and environmental monitoring.
• Support infrastructure topics such as virtualization, storage, backup concepts and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Coordinate procurement activities across AI tools, licenses, hardware and data center services, including documentation and order tracking.
• Maintain clean and accurate IT asset management for both software and hardware across the EMEA region.

Sound exciting so far? Great! To ensure you feel happy and confident in this role, it would be great if you bring the following background:

• Ongoing or completed studies in Computer Science, IT Engineering, Data Science or a comparable field.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, data handling, networking fundamentals or server/virtualization technologies.
• First hands-on exposure to Windows Server, Linux or Microsoft 365 environments.
• Interest in modern IT operations, cloud-to-edge architecture, and emerging AI workflows.
• Structured way of working with a willingness to learn and collaborate across Germany, EMEA and APAC teams.
• English C1; German B1–B2 is a plus.
