About the Role
NeuVerge-Tron is a newly established European software company, headquartered in Munich, designed to operate fully aligned with EU regulations and cybersecurity standards.
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to build, lead, and manage the full finance function of the company — from accounting and compliance to business partnering and strategic planning. This is a hands-on role suited for a professional who thrives in a fast-growing, early-stage environment and can develop processes from zero to one.
The Finance Manager will play a key role in shaping the financial backbone of our new European operations, ensuring local compliance while enabling scalable growth across software, cloud, and service business lines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Finance System Ground-up Setup & Operations
· Build and implement the end-to-end financial framework (accounting, budgeting, reporting, controls) from scratch.
· Select and manage local accounting systems, banking processes, and ERP tools, independent from Sungrow Group systems.
· Oversee all bookkeeping, payments, invoicing, and cashflow management in line with German GAAP (HGB) and EU standards.
2. Compliance & Tax Management
· Ensure full compliance with German tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
· Liaise regularly with local tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors.
· Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (VAT, CIT, payroll).
· Maintain internal controls and manage statutory audits and risk reviews.
3. Business Partnering & Strategic Finance
· Act as a finance business partner to the General Manager and key functions, providing financial insights and decision support.
· Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, tracking investment efficiency and business performance.
· Support shareholder and board reporting to Singapore and HQ stakeholders, clearly explaining financial results, variances, and ROI.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with HR, Legal, and Operations to coordinate payroll, expense control, and compliance matters.
· Support employee salary structure setup, benefits administration, and related statutory filings.
· Act as a bridge between local teams and external service providers (accounting, legal, tax consultants).
