Willkommen im HQ SUNGROWs für Europa, das schöne München! Das HQ liegt supernah gelegen am OST-Bahnhof, genauer gesagt in der Balanstr. 58. Dort haben wir einen riesigen Office-floor im 6. Stock von dem schon einige ein paar tolle „Sonnenuntergangselfies“ (was ein Wort,…) geschossen haben. Klar, hier im HQ findet am meisten Trubel statt, es sind tatsächlich sämtliche Teams vertreten und man trifft immer, und ich meine IMMER, nette Kollegen, die Mittagessen ordern wollen. Und hier sind wir auch schon an einem der coolsten features angekommen, nämlich unsere multikulturelle Belegschaft! Klar, logisch haben wir hier Deutsche, aber nebst denen trifft man hier auf etwa 50 verschiedene Nationen aus aller Welt. Viele chinesische Mitarbeiter findet man natürlich ebenfalls hier, es herrscht ein reges Treiben, es ist eine Wonne! Hier in München haben wir elektrisch verstellbare Tische und jede Menge Snacks zur Nervennahrung, sollte man mal was brauchen; Wir wissen nicht woher es kommt, aber in unserem Münchner Office finden sich ständig Snacks, die guten, also die klassischen Fruchtkörbe, und die,… andersguten in Form von Schokolade; jeder ist für sein eigenes Hüftgold verantwortlich 😊 Ich denke als kleiner Vorgeschmack sollte das erst mal reichen; also dann, wir sehen uns in München!!!

Your duties

We are looking for you to join our Sungrow team as our new Digital Experience UX/UI Specialist!

What does a Digital Experience UX/UI Specialist do, you might ask?
Well, this role is allowed to do the best part of our everyday work – to still the hunger for sustainable energy! 
 
In a little more detail, this is what you will do in your day to day job:

User Experience Design:
 
  • Conduct user research, needs analysis, and user testing, optimizing product experience based on data insights and user feedback.
  • Design and implement user interaction flows, ensuring consistent user experience across various platforms.
  • Create high-quality wireframes, user journey maps, and information architectures to help the team better understand user needs.
 
UI Design:
 
  • Responsible for product interface design, from visual aesthetics to interactive elements, ensuring design beauty and usability.
  • Participate in the enhancement of the design system, assist in the development and maintenance of the product UI component library, ensuring design consistency and standardization.
 
Cross Department Collaboration:
 
  • Work closely with product managers and development teams, participate in requirement analysis and transform them into practical design solutions.
  • Allocate design resources efficiently based on project progress and quality requirements, ensuring timely delivery of design solutions.
 
Design System Construction and Maintenance:

  • Assist in the construction and optimization of the design system based on the existing design system, ensuring consistency in design style across product modules.
  • Promote the implementation and updating of design standards, ensuring design consistency and brand image uniformity.

Your profile

Now that you are aware of the job requirements let's see if your skillset matches:

Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design, involved in several complete projects from research, design to implementation.
  • Familiar with UX/UI design processes, including user research, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe suite, Microsoft suite, etc.
  • Strong interface design skills, capable of designing UI across multiple platforms (Web, iOS, Android, etc.)
  • Some good interaction design and prototyping skills, capable of efficiently validating and optimizing designs.
  • Strong systemic design thinking, problem solving mind, capable of grasping the direction and goals of product design from a holistic perspective.
  • Good cross-departmental communication and collaboration skills, capable of clearly expressing design ideas and quickly responding to changes in requirements.
 
Education Background:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI design, Graphic Design, Service Design, Industrial Design or a related field.
 
Other Requirements: 

  • English (C1), German and Chinese preffered
