Willkommen im HQ SUNGROWs für Europa, das schöne München! Das HQ liegt supernah gelegen am OST-Bahnhof, genauer gesagt in der Balanstr. 58. Dort haben wir einen riesigen Office-floor im 6. Stock von dem schon einige ein paar tolle „Sonnenuntergangselfies“ (was ein Wort,…) geschossen haben. Klar, hier im HQ findet am meisten Trubel statt, es sind tatsächlich sämtliche Teams vertreten und man trifft immer, und ich meine IMMER, nette Kollegen, die Mittagessen ordern wollen. Und hier sind wir auch schon an einem der coolsten features angekommen, nämlich unsere multikulturelle Belegschaft! Klar, logisch haben wir hier Deutsche, aber nebst denen trifft man hier auf etwa 50 verschiedene Nationen aus aller Welt. Viele chinesische Mitarbeiter findet man natürlich ebenfalls hier, es herrscht ein reges Treiben, es ist eine Wonne! Hier in München haben wir elektrisch verstellbare Tische und jede Menge Snacks zur Nervennahrung, sollte man mal was brauchen; Wir wissen nicht woher es kommt, aber in unserem Münchner Office finden sich ständig Snacks, die guten, also die klassischen Fruchtkörbe, und die,… andersguten in Form von Schokolade; jeder ist für sein eigenes Hüftgold verantwortlich 😊 Ich denke als kleiner Vorgeschmack sollte das erst mal reichen; also dann, wir sehen uns in München!!!

Your duties

We are seeking an experienced and strategic EV charging Project Manager - (located in Munich or Amsterdam) to lead our EV charging business in Sungrow Europe. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring EV charging projects are delivered successfully and high-level customer engagement with team leadership and is central to our expansion in a high-priority growth market. They combine organizational skills, leadership, and strategic thinking to drive results.

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Project Planning

Define EV charging / EVC + ESS project scope (S,A,B level), goals, and deliverables different stages:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines (Gantt charts, schedules), and budgets.
Identify risks and create mitigation strategies. · Managing and performing high quality technical advisory works for the pre-sale’s activities
Provide technical input from initial assessment through to technical and economic feasibility of the project and integration with other electrical or generating plants as necessary

2. Team Coordination & Leadership

Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Facilitate collaboration between cross-functional teams (commercial, service, product solution, contract &l egal, finance etc.)
Motivate and guide the team to meet deadlines.
Preparation and management of specifications, tendering, negotiation

3. Stakeholder Communication

Act as the main point of contact for clients, executives, and team members.
Provide regular progress updates (status reports, meetings).
Organize regular meeting with key stakeholders and report to internal and external parties.
Manage expectations and negotiate changes when necessary.

4. Project payment & Resource Management

Track project payment milestone and ensure adherence to the program & deadline.
Allocate resources efficiently (manpower, tools, materials).

5. Risk & Issue Management

Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that hinder progress.

6. Quality Assurance & Delivery

Ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
Conduct post-project reviews (lessons learned, performance analysis).

Your profile

Now that you are aware of what the essence of the job is, let's see what is required from you:

2-3+ years in project management leadership or technical experience within EV charging, e-mobility, or energy storage, renewables, or technical infrastructure sectors
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
Proven experience managing teams and developing customers’ relationship.
Skilled in solution-based project management, with strong contract negotiation ability
An in-depth knowledge and field expertise regarding to EV charging / BESS /E-mobility technologies including the emerging technologies and the international market
Technical advisory experience towards investors, project developers and experience with new energy plant design dealing with technical advisory support
Fluent English, Chinese is beneficial
Willing to travel 10-30% of the time
