Servus und hallo zusammen!

Willkommen im HQ SUNGROWs für Europa, das schöne München! Das HQ liegt supernah gelegen am OST-Bahnhof, genauer gesagt in der Balanstr. 58. Dort haben wir einen riesigen Office-floor im 6. Stock von dem schon einige ein paar tolle „Sonnenuntergangselfies“ (was ein Wort,…) geschossen haben. Klar, hier im HQ findet am meisten Trubel statt, es sind tatsächlich sämtliche Teams vertreten und man trifft immer, und ich meine IMMER, nette Kollegen, die Mittagessen ordern wollen. Und hier sind wir auch schon an einem der coolsten features angekommen, nämlich unsere multikulturelle Belegschaft! Klar, logisch haben wir hier Deutsche, aber nebst denen trifft man hier auf etwa 50 verschiedene Nationen aus aller Welt. Viele chinesische Mitarbeiter findet man natürlich ebenfalls hier, es herrscht ein reges Treiben, es ist eine Wonne! Hier in München haben wir elektrisch verstellbare Tische und jede Menge Snacks zur Nervennahrung, sollte man mal was brauchen; Wir wissen nicht woher es kommt, aber in unserem Münchner Office finden sich ständig Snacks, die guten, also die klassischen Fruchtkörbe, und die,… andersguten in Form von Schokolade; jeder ist für sein eigenes Hüftgold verantwortlich 😊 Ich denke als kleiner Vorgeschmack sollte das erst mal reichen; also dann, wir sehen uns in München!!!

Your duties

As a contract manager, you will work as a member of the Legal and Contracts Department and you will be responsible for negotiating, drafting and overseeing commercial contracts relating to Sungrow’s projects and ensuring that any issues which arise in connection with the contracts are resolved as quickly and effectively as possible.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the contracts function on activities in PV and ESS Business Unit in Germany and other countries in the region as required.
  • Review, draft, qualify and negotiate various types of contractual documentation including framework agreement, sales contracts, General Terms & Conditions, purchasing agreement, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements and letters of intent.
  • Identify risks and deviations from Sungrow´s contracting principles and where necessary obtain senior management approval.
  • Preparation and negotiation of contractual qualifications with new and existing clients.
  • Prepare contract and risk summaries to ensure that all relevant project personnel are aware of contractual obligations, risks and objectives.
  • Negotiate to resolution contractual and financial disputes on live projects, consulting with and advising Commercial managers.
  • Maintenance and adherence to all relevant policies, processes and procedures contained within Sungrow´s Business Management System.

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:

  • Degree educated in Law or relevant Business-related qualification.
  • PV, Energy Storage, and or Construction industry experience.
  • Commercially focused with a sound knowledge of Contract Law and the ability to draft in a legal / contractual context.
  • Experience working within a Contracts or Legal department.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships at all levels and translate to a non-legal audience.
  • Demonstrates credibility and professionalism at all times.
  • Can engage, influence and negotiating at all levels with stakeholders.
  • Pro-active with a solutions-based approach, and the ability to constructively challenge and be challenged.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and ownership, and work within a multi-disciplined team.
  • Detail orientated with excellent analytical skills.
  • Accustomed to report writing and presenting in English and German (both at least C1), Chinese language skill is an advantage
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, accustomed to meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
