Ciao a tutti - and welcome to Sungrow in Italy. We are excited to introduce a role that helps bring innovative renewable energy projects to life across Europe as our Logistics Specialist (Part-time) - Italy. Curious what this role is all about? Let’s dive right in:
- Lead end-to-end logistics planning and delivery execution for BESS and PV projects across Europe.
- Support project deliveries through supplier tendering, RFQs, transport route planning, and delivery scheduling.
- Design practical transport solutions for oversized and overweight cargo, including heavy-lift and specialist moves.
- Carry out route checks, road surveys, and delivery risk assessments for complex transport operations.
- Coordinate closely with project managers, carriers, clients, and partners to ensure on-time and complete last-mile delivery.
- Improve logistics performance through cost-efficient planning, supplier evaluation, KPI tracking, compliance control, and documentation management.
All right, all right - sounds exciting, doesn’t it? To thrive in this role and enjoy the journey with us, your background should look a lot like this:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You bring at least 2 years of experience in international or project logistics, ideally within renewable energy, BESS, PV, EPC, or industrial environments.
- You have solid knowledge of freight forwarding, customs clearance, EU inland transportation, and Incoterms.
- You are confident in supplier tendering, logistics provider management, and performance tracking through KPIs.
- You are familiar with multimodal transport operations and can manage several moving parts in a dynamic environment.
- You communicate fluently in English and Italian at C1 level, and additional German, Chinese, or other CEE language skills are a strong plus.
