Your duties

Hey there and welcome to your new Opportunity with us. Welcome to our Business Unit EV Charging. We develop and deliver 360° Solutions all around the Charging sphere. This position is supposed to be in Delft, where we have our workshop. But we are open to find an agile way together with you! 
  1. Collaborate with developers:
Work closely with developers to understand product functionality, testing scope, and requirements;
Support early-stage development testing;
  1. Develop and execute test plans:
Create, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on charger requirements and design documents;
Maintain detailed testing records to ensure traceability and compliance with project goals;
  1. Automation testing:
Have or be willing to learn to write and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage;
Be willing to join the design and implement Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing frameworks for system-level validation;
  1. Environment setup:
Participate in building and maintaining comprehensive testing environments, such as PV-ESS-Charger integration systems, V2G setups, and related infrastructure;
  1. Support product launch:
Assist in addressing and resolving customer issues during the product launch process;
Participate in technical discussions to provide solutions and ensure smooth product implementation;
  1. Training, technical and on-site support:
Train local service engineers on product functionality and testing processes;
Provide technical support to both internal teams and customers when necessary;
Provide on-site technical support for troubleshooting, installation, and testing, collaborating with the FAE team.

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have: 
  1. Bachelor/Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, Automotive, Computer Science or related fields
  2. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. 
  3. Knowledge of solar, energy storage, charging systems, and V2G technologies is highly desirable.
  4. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes is a plus.
  5. Hands-on experience in setting up and managing testing environments.
  6. Good English skill in speech (at least C1), reading and writing, Chinese is a plus
  7. Passion for learning and discovering new technology
  8. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
