Your duties

Welcome to your new role, as our next Remote Support Engineer!
You will have a wide array of responsibilities, such as:
  • First level support of O&M issues, communicate with customer and provide support
  • GSP system tickets handling for O&M work
  • Support region service team to Identify problems and develops corrective action plans, and tracing and manage progress
  • Scheduling and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance with Region service team, and tracing and manage progress
  • Support RSC manager to manage hotline service partner to avoid SLA violation according to the contract
  • Ensure that all O&M activities performed at project sites complies with OEM (original equipment manufacturer) requirements and warranties 
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders. Responsible for all required repairs, maintenance, and monitoring of all warranty claims
  • Manage and monitor the stock of spare parts and spare units on-site. Apply the stock refill timely.
  • Manage the subcontractors and monitor their work result.
  • Follow the applicable local Health and Safety instructions and regulations. Develop and manage local HSE regulations for site activities.
  • Review reports from field operation, status, and constructive feedback as Region service team provided. 
  • Support on site activity if need.

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:
  • Education as Electrical Engineer. (Let`s face it, you need to understand ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage etc, as much we love people willing to join us from different faculties, you should know your fair share of electrical conduits, right?)
  • Knowledge about PV inverter is a plus
  • English language skills at least on C1
  • You should be based in the UK
  • Driving license is extremely important for the job
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations
  • Willingness to travel
