Your duties

Hey there and welcome to your new Opportunity with us!

Being Field Service Engineer (FSE) in Spain is an exciting task since you are the superhero our clients need. You know what do not hesitate to directly speak with them as if they would setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs, therefore, these are your most important tasks:

  • Act as the primary interface between customers onsite personnel and Sungrow, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Own and resolve dispatched customer issues, providing service and support during on-site visits.
  • Perform diagnostics on technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Execute on-site installation, repair, maintenance, testing, upgrades, and re-work activities for PV iverters and energy storage systems(ESS).
  • Work in coordination with the Project Management team to ensure he successful completion of commissioning schedules and related site activities acting as Sungrow site representative.
  • Track and document site actions during project delivery, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures and health &safety regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, work instructions, and processes for service contracts.
  • Provide technical reports and suggest corrective measures to enhance service quality.
  • Manage and support activities performed by Service Partners to align with company standards.
  • Participate in claim management and RMA processes.
  • Support system optimization, data analysis, and firmware upgrades for PV and ESS.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and nights, to provide Customer support.

Your profile

All right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you
have in order to feel comfortable with this role?

Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, ideally has, do not hesitate to “directly speak” with them as if that`s why it is essential for you to have: 

  • Education as Electrical technician or Engineer (Let`s face it, you need to understand essential and what is good to have to tackle the daily
  • ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage etc, as much we love people willing to join us from challenges. different faculties, you should know your fair share of electrical  conduits, right?)
  • Spanish (mother language) & English language skills at least on B2 level
  • Willing to work on call duty.
  • Experience with ESS and SCADA / industrial control systems is beneficial.
  • Experience dealing with customers in critical situations
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%
  • Driving license is extremely important for the job
  • H&S training to access to construction site with electrical specific training
  • Willing to work on call duty AND to travel.
