Your duties

We are seeking a skilled Remote Support Engineer to join our team at Sungrow. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our operations and maintenance (O&M) activities, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our electrical systems.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and experience with PV inverters. You should be proficient in both Hebrew and English, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle critical situations with customers.

Responsibilities:
  1. First-Level Support: Provide first-level support for O&M issues, communicate with customers, and manage GSP system tickets.
  2. Maintenance Management: Schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance with the region service team, ensuring all activities comply with OEM requirements and warranties.
  3. Corrective Actions: Identify problems, develop corrective action plans, and manage progress with the region service team.
  4. Stock and Subcontractor Management: Monitor and manage the stock of spare parts and units on-site, manage subcontractors, and ensure quality work results.
  5. Health and Safety Compliance: Follow and develop local Health and Safety regulations for site activities, ensuring compliance.
  6. Reporting and Documentation: Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences, including managing warranty claims and providing feedback from field operations.
Note: Responsibilities are not exhaustive and may be adjusted as needed.


Your profile

  • Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering with solid knowledge of ACDC, Low/Medium Voltage systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with PV inverters is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in Hebrew and English, at least at a C1 level.
  • Customer Experience: Proven experience in managing critical customer situations.
  • Willingness to Travel: Open to traveling as needed.
