As an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager for Southern Europe, you will hold a strategic and operational role, with full accountability for the execution, performance, and profitability of Sungrow’s O&M business across Spain, Italy, and Portugal, covering both PV and Energy Storage Systems (ESS) assets.
You will ensure excellence in service delivery during the warranty phase and under SLA/LTSA contracts, acting as the main technical, contractual, and operational interface with customers. This role requires a strong technical background in both PV and ESS, advanced contract and data analysis capabilities, and solid leadership skills to manage internal teams and service partners in a fast-growing and demanding environment.
The position is based in Madrid, with frequent travel across the region.
Tasks:
Lead the execution of O&M contracts across Spain, Italy, and Portugal, ensuring compliance with SLAs, KPIs, costs, and service levels.
Act as the main customer interface during the warranty phase and under SLA/LTSA contracts, covering technical, contractual, warranty, and corrective service matters.
Perform advanced contract analysis to identify risks, obligations, and improvement opportunities, providing active support during LTSA negotiation phases.
Demonstrate the technical capability to develop and validate RCAs, as well as to interpret SCADA data and equipment logs, delivering conclusive analyses to support operational and warranty-related decisions.
Lead the negotiation with Service Partners, ensuring quality of service, cost control, and alignment with business objectives.
Execute data analysis from an asset management perspective, including safety stock management, spare parts optimization, and resource efficiency.
Manage and develop the O&M team and Service Partners, ensuring quality, safety, and performance.
Coordinate with internal departments (Projects, Sales, Engineering, HQ) to ensure a proper handover and ongoing technical support.
Ensure the profitability of the O&M business in the region, controlling costs, deviations, contractual risks, and enabling sustainable growth.
Drive continuous improvement of processes, reporting, and fleet reliability.
