Sungrow UK • Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes

from today

Your duties

Hello and welcome! We're so glad you found us. At Sungrow, we're on a mission to power a cleaner world - and behind every solar panel and battery storage system we deliver, there's a brilliant logistics team making it all happen. We're now looking for a curious, hands-on Logistics Intern to join our UK team and grow with us.

Curious what this is all about? Let's dive right in:

  • Support logistics activities for project deliveries, including assistance with supplier RFQs, tender preparation, and transportation route planning across the UK and Europe.
  • Help follow up on live shipments and coordinate with internal teams and logistics service providers to ensure on-time, in-full last-mile delivery.
  • Work closely with Project Managers and internal stakeholders to keep communication flowing and project logistics running smoothly.
  • Support cost control efforts by comparing supplier quotations, tracking costs, and assisting with basic KPI monitoring.
  • Assist in data collection and analysis to identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help manage logistics documentation and ensure compliance with internal procedures and applicable regulatory requirements, including invoice checking and monthly reporting.

Your profile

Alright - that sounds like a pretty exciting role, doesn't it? Now, to thrive here and genuinely enjoy every day, your background should look something like this:

  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or a related field - a prior internship or relevant coursework is a great bonus.
  • A genuine interest in international logistics and project delivery, with a basic understanding of international forwarding, Incoterms, customs clearance, and EU inland transportation.
  • Eager to learn about IATA regulations, Dangerous Goods handling, supplier management, and RFQ processes - no expert knowledge required, just the right mindset.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment where no two days look the same.
  • Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to take real ownership of your tasks.
  • Comfortable working with data and structured reporting; solid MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint), with any ERP or WMS knowledge being a welcome plus.
  • English proficiency at C1 level required; additional European languages or Mandarin Chinese are a strong advantage.

Our offer

Our UK Logistics and Project Delivery team sits at the heart of Sungrow's operations - bridging the gap between our global supply chain and the renewable energy projects we help bring to life across the country. You won't just be observing from the sidelines; you'll be a real part of the team, contributing to live projects from day one.

We offer a collaborative, international working environment where learning is encouraged, initiative is celebrated, and your development genuinely matters. Whether you're looking to build a career in logistics, supply chain, or project operations - this is the place to start.

Join us, and help move the energy transition forward - one delivery at a time.
