Your duties

What does a Key Account Manager in the Distribution team do, you might ask?
Well, this role is allowed to do the best part of our everyday work – to still the hunger for sustainable energy! You are the central person towards our channel partners, steering and controlling the boat of our collaboration into the direction of joint success. At Sungrow, we believe that building strong relationships is key!
 
In a little more detail, this is what you will do in your day to day job
  • You are the main interface to our Distribution Channel Partners here in Ukraine
  • Doing so, you make sure our Channel Partner have all relevant information (on Products, commercials, etc.) and most importantly a good feeling to sell our products
  • Together with our clients counterparts, you identify the challenges and needs and match them with Sungrows overall strategy
  • Create value proposition / Account plans based on customer insights and evaluate on possible further developments/strategies inside the account
  • You are keeping track on your clients by monitoring the overall performance and provide the relevant information to management
  • Next to all the fun, you will be also performing necessary operational tasks (like quote entries, tracking the fluent product flow, reports and deadlines)
  • When things are running not so smooth, you will help the customer to address rising challenges and address these inside Sungrow at the adequate stakeholders. 

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:
  • You look back on a higher education qualification or business related studies with some technical elements – it is important to develop a general understanding of what we are selling!
  • You are experienced in the field of Account Management and ideally gained some expertise in this field in the past years
  • Ability to work independently and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment like the Solarcoaster
  • Strong communication and commercial skillset
  • English and Ukrainian at least at C1 level. Any other European language or even Chinese would be amazing!
  • You are a quick-learner with deepened desire to increase your knowledge in the clean-tech industry
  • Attention to details. You're able to dive into the details and connect them through to the big picture of delivering an exceptional and brand-aligned experience
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of CRM is a plus
  • Understanding of solar industry is a plus
  • You like to travel and visit your clients also in person on a regular basis
