Your duties

Hey there and welcome to your new Opportunity with us.
Being a Technical Solution Manager Utility PV (ESS) is an exciting task, since you are the superhero our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs, therefore, these here are your most important tasks:

  • Technical support of customers regarding Sungrow’s PV utility solutions for providing a major contribution to achieve Sungrow’s sales targets in the PV utility market.
  • Supplementary first level technical support regarding Sungrow's ESS utility solutions for PV/ESS hybrid customers.
  • Maintain, develop and strengthen customer relationship in collaboration with account management by providing a high quality of technical support that meets customer’s demands and expectations.
  • Meet customers on a regular basis, personally and online, for technical presentations, workshops and trainings as well as project specific technical alignments.
  • Support account management with all technical questions and customized offer preparations.
  • Support RFQs and tenders by reviewing the requirements and delivering the required technical input.
  • Preparation of technical offers, coordination of system configurations, technical contract negotiations and compilation of product and project documentation.
  • Interface closely with R&D and Product Management in HQ.
  • Manage local documentations, certifications and knowledge data base and represent Sungrow in exhibitions.
  • Provide proactive input to Sungrow’s roadmap of new product developments based on technical knowledge and understanding of the competitive landscape.
  • Frequent benchmarking of our products against competition and monitoring of market development.

Your profile

​All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role?

  • Technical background with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Engineering or similar is a must.
  • Deep knowledge of the technical requirements for PV systems in the utility scale segment, including product specifications, grid code requirements, competitive landscape, tender requirements etc…  
  • Deep knowledge in PV Inverter and Medium Voltage Station technology is an advantage.
  • Knowledge in ESS Utility technology is a plus.
  • Proven skills in managing customer relationships with technical stakeholders within EPC and project development companies.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritizing and focused in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner with desire to increase knowledge in the PV industry.
  • Language Package: Finnish and English at least C1. Additional European languages are a plus.
