Your duties

Sungrow ventured into the energy storage system (“ESS”) industry. Relying on its cutting-edge renewable power conversion technology and industry-leading battery technology, Sungrow focuses on integrated energy storage system solutions. The core components of these systems include PCS, lithium-ion batteries and energy management system. These “turnkey” ESS solutions can be designed to meet the demanding requirements for residential, C&I and utility-side applications alike, committed to making the power interconnected reliably.

Being an ESS Key Account Manager France is an exciting task, since you are the superhero our clients need. You know what setup of our solutions will satisfy their needs, therefore, these here are your most important tasks:
  • Develop and manage ESS clients and projects in France
  • Collect the client’s requirements and communicate with technical and service teams
  • Analyze our main competitor’s solution, price and market strategy ect.
  • Attend national and international fairs and congresses.
  • Provide periodic sales forecast,reports and market research.
  • Achieve yearly sales target and ensure local market share.
  • Complete all other works associated with sales team.
  • Participation in additional task / projects possible.

Your profile

All right, all right, so I hope you are now aware of what is up for you, what background should you have in order to feel comfortable with this role? Keep in mind it`s all about electrical equipment, that`s why it is essential for you to have:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Egineering, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent. Affinity to electrical engineering.
  • Several years of working experience in technical sales, preferrably in the photovoltaic industry or IT/electrical industry with focus on energy storage products, are mandatory.
  • Working experience in photovoltaic industry at an inverter manufacturer is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of photovoltaics, inverters and BOS in combination with strong commercial sales background, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry.
  • Fluent French (C1-C2) and English (C1) language skills are mandatory. Daily communication will be in English and French. Chinese language skills are a plus.
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel national and internationally on a regular basis (50%).
  • The position can be either based in Lyon or Paris (hybrid). Regular business trips to our main office in Lyon will be necessary.
