Your duties

Hello there and welcome to Sungrow!
This is a first-class opportunity to join Sungrow Power EMEA as an experienced engineer in our Swedish team, specialising in Energy Storage Systems (Batteries)​.

What you will be doing in this exciting role:
  • Performing high quality technical advisory to help in pre-sales
  • Project management across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, civil and control scheme)
  • Initial technical assessment and evaluation of economic feasibility of the project 
  • Integration with other electrical or generating plants as necessary
  • Review of the conceptual design of projects and delivery of suggestions for ESS projects
  • Management of specifications, tendering, negotiation, and selection of ESS plants
  • Due diligence of ESS projects including technical liaison with legal and financial advisors
  • ESS technical specifications establishment as per EU and international standards

Your profile

What you will need to succeed:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Experience regarding BESS technology
  • An in-depth knowledge of the international energy storage market
  • Experience in being a technical advisor to investors and project developers
  • Experience in solar (PV) or hybrid project development and delivery
  • Experience being a technical reviewer and communicating with various stakeholders (utilities, BoP, EPC, etc) 
  • Knowledge of renewable generation utility network connection quality studies
  • Knowledge of PCS dynamic performance approval process
  • English and Swedish at least C1
